Terms of Service
Effective date: November 2, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ripplo ("the Service"), operated by Ripplo LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("Ripplo", "we", "us", "our"), at ripplo.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including organizations and individual developers. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Ripplo. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Account Registration & Security
You may create an account using GitHub OAuth or authenticate via the Ripplo CLI using the device authorization flow. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, API tokens, and CLI tokens.
You must notify us immediately at mail@ripplo.ai if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account. Ripplo is not liable for any losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.
Description of Service
Ripplo is an AI-powered end-to-end testing platform. The Service executes browser-based tests against application URLs that you specify, using Playwright for browser automation and AI agents for intelligent test execution.
Key aspects of how the Service operates:
- Reviews and test runs execute on Ripplo-managed infrastructure in the United States (AWS us-east-1)
- AI-powered review agents — including the built-in accessibility, UX, data exposure, copy, visual layout, and design system reviewers, plus any custom reviewers you create — are powered by large language models reached through OpenRouter and the model providers listed at ripplo.ai/docs/security, or through a model endpoint your organization provides
- Run recordings and screenshots are stored on Amazon S3 in the United States (AWS us-east-1)
- During a review, Ripplo clones the repository you installed the GitHub App on, with read-only access, and deletes that copy when the review finishes. The reviewer's log keeps the parts of your code it read
- Ripplo runs only against the preview, development, or staging environment you point it at, signed in as a test user it creates
Subscription Plans & Billing
Ripplo offers a Free plan, a Professional plan in Developer, Scale, and Max sizes, and an Enterprise plan. Each plan sets the number of reviews per month. Current plan details and pricing are available at ripplo.ai/pricing.
Billing is processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to provide accurate and complete billing information. Usage exceeding your plan limits may incur overage charges as described in your plan terms.
We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before any pricing changes take effect. Changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
User Content & Data
You retain all ownership rights to your test specifications, application data, test results, and screenshots ("User Content"). Ripplo claims no ownership over your User Content.
You grant Ripplo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process your User Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you.
We may use anonymized and aggregated data derived from your usage of the Service to improve the platform, conduct research, and publish benchmarks. This aggregated data cannot be used to identify you, your organization, or your applications.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Ripplo to:
- Test applications, websites, or URLs that you do not own or do not have explicit authorization to test
- Conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, load testing, or stress testing through the platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Ripplo platform
- Interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to third-party systems, services, or data through test execution
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code through test specifications or test endpoints
- Use the Service for any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Abuse free-tier resources, create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, or exploit promotional offers
- Share account credentials, API tokens, or CLI tokens with unauthorized third parties
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Ripplo platform for purposes unrelated to your authorized use
Ripplo reserves the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of your account.
AI-Powered Features
Ripplo uses large language models, reached through OpenRouter and the model providers listed at ripplo.ai/docs/security or through a model endpoint your organization provides, to power its reviewers. AI-generated actions, assertions, and test results are probabilistic in nature and may not always be accurate or complete.
You are solely responsible for the content of your test specifications, agent configurations, and prompts. When using AI-powered features, you agree not to:
- Attempt to jailbreak, manipulate, or extract underlying model weights, system prompts, or proprietary configurations
- Use AI features to generate harmful, illegal, abusive, or deceptive content
- Craft test specifications designed to exploit or abuse AI model behavior
- Rely on AI-generated test results as the sole basis for production deployment decisions without independent verification
Ripplo reserves the right to restrict or revoke access to AI-powered features for violations of this policy.
Intellectual Property
Ripplo and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, algorithms, design, branding, documentation, and other intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the Ripplo platform.
You own your User Content. These Terms do not grant Ripplo any rights to your User Content beyond the limited license described in the User Content & Data section above.

Ripplo integrates with third-party services to operate. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party’s terms of service and privacy policy:

Ripplo is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security practices, or terms of any third-party service. Your interactions with third-party services are governed solely by your agreements with those providers.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Ripplo does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. No service level agreement (SLA) or uptime commitment is provided.
Ripplo does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated test actions, assertions, or results. AI-powered features are provided as tools to assist your testing workflow, not as a substitute for professional judgment.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIPPLO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, WHETHER ARISING FROM CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.
You acknowledge that Ripplo executes browser-based tests against application URLs that you configure. You are solely responsible for ensuring that tests target appropriate environments (such as staging or development, not production). You assume all risk for any consequences of test execution, including but not limited to data modification, deletion, state changes, or unintended interactions with your application or its dependencies.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIPPLO’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RIPPLO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ripplo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a single arbitrator.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
JURY TRIAL WAIVER: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND RIPPLO EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN CONNECTION WITH ANY DISPUTE ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending the outcome of arbitration.
Termination & Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting mail@ripplo.ai. Upon cancellation, your account will remain accessible through the end of your current billing period.
Ripplo may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. In cases of severe or repeated violations, Ripplo may terminate your account immediately without notice.
Upon termination or cancellation, run recordings, results, workflows, and account records remain until you close your organization or ask us to delete your data. You may request deletion of everything at any time by contacting mail@ripplo.ai.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and notifying you via email or in-app notification.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service before the changes take effect.

- Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
